Kyneton Studio House is a robust, energy-efficient home designed for an artist to live and work well into the future. Built from raw, textural brick and timber, the house celebrates honest materials that will age gracefully over time.

Conceived with ageing in place in mind, it features step-free access, wide circulation, and adaptable spaces that support long-term comfort without compromise. The design prioritises thermal performance and sustainability, with high levels of insulation, airtight construction, a heat-recovery ventilation system, rooftop solar, and battery storage—ensuring the home is both resilient and affordable to run.

Light-filled studio spaces, simple forms, and a direct connection to the garden create a setting that balances creativity, comfort, and sustainability in equal measure.
